Beckett is a third-year Political Science student at Fordham University in New York City, where she is also pursuing a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. She has a background in local politics and organizing, political research, and event crisis management. In the summer, Beckett works at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, where she supports artists behind the scenes by cleaning and preparing dressing rooms. Between her work at Merriweather and with HeadCount, she’s almost always at a live music event. She previously served as a Music and Politics Intern. Now, she’s thrilled to return as both a Voter Engagement Intern and a Team Leader. Her current favorite artists are Beyoncé, Lorde, and Maggie Rogers.
