Adriana Miranda

Adriana Miranda is a student organizer, music business researcher, and occasional songwriter currently studying Music Business at Hofstra University with a concentration in intellectual property.

This summer, she’s bringing that same energy to HeadCount as a Diversity & Community Field Fellow, building on her experience as Chapter President of her campus’s Amnesty International chapter and as a GRAMMY U Ambassador, where she led Hofstra’s first-ever Music Industry Mixer, connecting students with artists and executives through a day of performances, panels, and professional development. She recently completed a semester-long research study on the legal and ethical implications of AI in music, and she’s passionate about protecting the future of creative work—and ensuring that artists and communities alike don’t lose their voice in the digital age, whether in the studio or at the ballot box.

Outside of organizing, Adriana is usually writing (songs, speeches, or to-do lists), rethinking her hair color, or hunting down the best iced matcha in NYC. She’s thrilled to join the HeadCount team, where she hopes to keep creating spaces that are as empowering as they are welcoming.
