Lizzy Garcia has occupied her natural habitat (tour) for the better part of the last 20 years, so working for HeadCount was a natural fit. When Lizzy Lightnin' heads out from her hometown of Chicago (an origin that means she doesn’t know what good pizza is or how to properly dress a hotdog), she spends much of her time representing HeadCount and working on our organization’s core mission: registering voters.
Stopping by the HeadCount booth at a show typically means that you will be greeted with a smile and the question of whether she can help you register to vote, update your voter registration, or sign up to volunteer. Since Lizzy joined HeadCount, she has worked as a traveling tour team leader for RatDog, The Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule, Furthur, and Dead & Co. When she is not out on the road, Lizzy lives outside of Chicago.
