2018 was a heck of a year for HeadCount and America.
In addition to smashing all of our midterm voter registration records, we also welcomed 63 enthusiastic voter registration machines (aka Team Leaders) to our family in 2018. Our rookies ran 592 voter registration drives at concerts, music festivals and cultural events and registered 8,252 people to vote. This was my first year as HeadCount's Field Director, and it couldn't have been such a success without the work from those rookies in the field.
I would like to take a moment to shout out the 10 who ran at least 20 voter registration drives, our ROOKIES OF THE YEAR, many of whom can be seen in the following video:
Chris McDonald - Dallas - Kickass moments include: In Bloom Festival & Dallas Do-Gooders
Alex Barton - Hartford - Kickass moments include: Firefly Music Festival & building relationships with venues all over Hartford
Kat Jutras - Phoenix - Kickass moments include: Comic Fest & Arizona State Voter Registration Palooza
Drew Kadish - Denver - Kickass moments include: Telluride Bluegrass Festival & multiple high school voter registration drives
Peggah Ghoreishi - Chicago - Kickass moments include: Lollapalooza & North Coast Festival
