2012 was HeadCount’s best year yet. The key to our success: incredible volunteers and leaders. To recognize their efforts, we’ve named a few as 2012 Award Winners, and we’re sending them all on a free trip on Jam Cruise 11! Special thanks to Jam Cruise and Cloud 9 Adventures for making these incredible prizes possible. And the biggest thanks of all to our award winners and all our volunteers!
The HeadCount Participation Tour, organized in conjunction with Magic Hat, raised over $12,000 for City Harvest’s hurricane relief efforts. Big thanks to CEG Presents, NOLAFUNK and Blue Note Entertainment Group, who agreed to donate all net proceeds from the tour.
Nearly 100 people took part in HeadCount’s Get Out the Vote phone canvas, Jam Cruise Calling, in the lead up to Tuesday’s election. Despite many entries, there can only be one drawing winner and that winner is Jillian Wayman of Nashville, Tennessee.
In the wake of the election, human rights and liberties has become a major talking point across the nation. With the election now behind us, Reverb, Ben & Jerry’s, and the band fun. want to make sure campuses across the nation are continuing those discussions.
