  • Iowa - All forms must be received by 10 days before the election, and postmarked at least 15 days before election day.
  • North Carolina - All mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before the 25th day before an election. However, individuals who miss the registration deadline may register in person and then vote at one-stop voting sites in the person's county of residence during the one-stop absentee voting period (from the 19th day before an election to 3 days before an election). In order to register during a one-stop period, the applicant must show proof of name and residence in the county.
  • Utah - All mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before 30 days prior to the election. Voters are eligible to register online or in person until 15 days prior to the election.
  • Washington - All mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before the Monday 4 weeks before an election. Voters may register online through that date, or in person through the Monday one week prior to an election.
